Thanks for this game! Could you explain at a high level how the environment was made? Is this actually 3D? Or is it 2D with a normal map? Or is it just pure 2D? The background looks 3D!!! But its also got pixelated edges... this confuses me! Amazing work!

Great short game! Really gives off Junji Ito vibes. I like the music and the characters have interesting and cool designs. LOVE LOVE LOVE The animated cutscene!!
The only thing I kinda miss are mundane interactions. Like looking at the stuff in the apartments and getting a little text about them :)
Otherwise really good and I'd love to see more like this.
Also maybe put a TW for crawling in the description because I know a few people w that phobia. As a spoiler maybe? Idk
Amazing game! As a Junji Ito fan, I see that you totally nailed the horror aspect and atmosphere his work has. I just wish this game was longer since I enjoyed it so much, but otherwise it's perfect as it is.
This was excellent! Love the reveal at the end and almost like a Junji Ito manga, the full reveal which would be a 2-pager is a full cutscene. The main character's arm looks very dangly, like she doesn't have joints! The character designs, especially the faces, look very close to Junji Ito's elongated face style. I want more!
Amazing amazing game, the atmosphere was so well captured all throughout, it really pulled me in! Looking forward to seeing more of your group's projects!
Just in case, maybe it was my headset but it was a little disoriented when I first walked upstairs and the music from the noisy neighbor's room was coming from the right headphone instead of the left where the guy's room was.
Other than that, really cool experience. Keep it up!
SO impressive!!! amazing adaptation job, you can kinda see that it was based on the manga because theres not much gameplay to it, but an incredible job, as a junji ito fan it made me real content, it is in my opinion even more scary than the manga :). the animation is so fluid and the game is very creative and well done. Nice project boys

Glad you liked it! It's actually 3D modelled after pixel conceptart, with 3D lighting and pixelart textures. But rendered at a very low resolution.

junji ito vibes were so strong that i almost shitted my pants
but honestly the game is very good plus its main characters do look like junji ito characters. music also makes this game even more atmospheric

even if this is a 2d game i can feel the horor atmosphere of this game , overall a great game . i Love it
