Wowzers, you're so cool and tough! /s, seriously what does "girl's blouses" mean as an insult 💀
relax it a JOKE too woke for me petal
All I asked was how the hell that was an insult, doesn't even sound like english 💀 Be funnier tbh
"petal noun [C] (PERSON)
UK informal. a friendly way of talking to someone, especially a woman or child: What did you say, petal? (Definition of petal from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus © Cambridge University Press)"
interesting premise! The spooks were also done well in this game as well as the general production quality so gg dev
great adaptation! love the animation and the overall style of it! the best adaptation of any of junji itos work in any kind of media ive seen in years!
this scared the absolute Sh!t outta me and where the other guy go ;-;
what a cool rendition of Ito's work!! the lighting and shadow work of the map was extremely beautiful both during the day and night, provided a very unnerving atmosphere switch. very smooth freaky animation paired with unsettling music. incredibly enjoyable experience as a big fan of Ito's.
This was one of the games that introduced me to the works of Junji Ito, and I am forever grateful for that.
hey do you know the name of the song at the start?
Yes, it's called Dark Emperor, it was specially made for the game by Clement Panchout
"Turns into villager"
(This game is amazing btw)
i loved it! keep it up with these games! :D
very cool, I somehow missed this Ito story and was not spoiled. amazing creepy vibes and buildup, great game.
Loved it!!! really well made game!
What in the spider lady is going on!! | Next Door (Junji Ito Inspired Horror Game)
i loved everything about this game. The art, the story, the sound. Everything was great and I really saw the how Junji Itos work inspired this. I would really love to play more games like this so please keep up the great work!!
I loved the quality of the game as well as how similiar it hits to the works of Junji Ito. Hope to see more of such nice retro style horrorgames. Not convinced? Take a look at the gameplay:
Very high quality
Lots of amazing moments in this! Love the art and the freaky window scene.
I should have left this comment last year when it happened, but this game is so cool it got me into Junji Ito. Incredible work.
ive never read this manga but im going to now thanks to this game :D i've read his other works but i've never heard of this one
great junji ito adaptation!
amazing game! I was completely into the atmosphere. Would like to play a full game like this
Of course the story is fantastic but the animations are fantastic. The bounciness of the main character's simple movements adds energy that's then paid off with the last scene. The extension of time by making the player go up the stairs several times works really well too. Cool game & I love the style!
SOSOSOSOSOSO GOOD- SHORT, BUT GOO
Very nice game
Easily the best Junji Ito adaptation to date. Hopefully (you'll have to forgive me) Uzumaki will take the crown when it comes out, but until then this is a solid 5/5 stars both as an adaptation and just some damn good pixel art
I loved it! I wish there were more :D and that other dude seemed so sweet :[
I loved it this!! I would play a lot more if it were possible. Great work!
Love this game so much
Love the sounds, the curtain animation is perfection!
The story is freaky and I'm into it.
that was so fun! it gave me the creeps and i loved it
This was incredible! The art and sound design is amazing, especially the fluidity of the animations... Really captures the vibe of Junji Ito's work. Couldn't have asked for a better tribute!
This game is great! Its short, ( which i like ) and definitely creeped me out :)
Loved the pixel art style and the ambience. Idk why but the uhhh weird mecha-ish person(?) made me laugh
never even read the manga but i was still so invested! the art is BEAUTIFUL and i really enjoyed playing it :)
You did a great job. Short but it has my mind racing with possibilities.
